10:43Now PlayingEpisode 2 is here! And Adrian wants to talk to you about water 💧
Growing up in cities, the majority of people on this planet take water for granted. It gets pumped in from who knows where, and we turn up a faucet and voilà — it’s there, and we drink it. That’s not always the case.
Adrian and our friends in Texas had personal experience with it last year, with the big freeze that some of us now call “Snowvid”. When winter temperatures dropped in 2021, Texas was not prepared for this weather event, and lost control of its water treatment plants. Millions were left without drinkable water amid a pandemic as pipes cracked, wells froze, and water treatment plants were knocked offline. ❄️
This experience just underscored how important water is and how delicate our water system can be. 🚰
So foresight is important, and the ideal is to get to a level of water autonomy so that we can be prepared for an unpredictable event. Join Adrian as he talks about ways to be as independent and autonomous as possible with all of his resources, including our precious water.
Special guests for this episode are Scott Harrison, CEO of Charity Water, and our friends at Heart Water: Ylianna Dadashi and Michael Dadashi ⚡️
