4:10Now PlayingLEADORE — The DeOrr Kunz family spent Friday, Oct. 23, and Saturday Oct. 24, back at the Timber Creek Campground searching for missing 2-year-old DeOrr Kunz Jr.
DeOrr Kunz Jr. disappeared July 10 while on a camping trip with his family. Despite a continued investigation and searching by the Lemhi County Sheriff’s Office, and since August, the FBI, no trace of the toddler has been found.
This weekend’s search will likely be the final search for the missing child before winter.
EastIdahoNews.com visited the campground Saturday and spoke with parents DeOrr and Jessica Kunz and grandmother Trina Bates Clegg. The interviews are in the video above along with aerial video of the campground and the search effort.
The search was organized by volunteer Rachel Voss in conjunction with Fremont County Search and Rescue. The search continues Sunday, Oct. 25. To volunteer, individuals can come to the Timber Creek Campground, and sign in. Contact Rachel Voss at (208) 821-1395 with questions.
