0:18Now PlayingOn Saturday, October 31, 2015 at approximately 10:08 PM, Blackfoot Police Officers stopped a vehicle in regards to an investigative stop.
The occupant of the vehicle, Jesus Guadalupe Contreras, 30 YOA, fled in his vehicle, initiating a pursuit. Blackfoot Police was assisted in the pursuit by the Bingham County Sheriff’s Office and Fort Hall Police
Department. When the vehicle slowly came to a stop, officers approached and found Contreras deceased.
The investigation of this matter has been turned over to the Eastern Idaho Critical Incident Team. Upon completion of the investigation, additional information may be released. No further information will be released until the investigation is completed.
