0:50Now PlayingROBERTS — A medical helicopter has been dispatched to the scene of a crash on Interstate 15 at milepost 140 between Idaho Falls and Roberts.
The wreck involves a semi truck and a tractor in the southbound lane. The wreck involves a semi truck and a tractor in the southbound lane. North and Southbound traffic is reduced to one lane and Idaho State Police is encouraging motorists are encouraged to find an alternate route if possible.
ISP, Roberts Fire Department and Idaho Falls Fire Department responded at about 4:30 p.m. An air ambulance arrived on at the scene at about 5 p.m. and left 15 minutes later.
It is unknown if the air ambulance left with a patient.
Traffic is backed up at least a mile.
At least one male was seriously injured in the accident.
