Non-profit medical organization receives grant to expand mental wellness services

1:32Now PlayingST. ANTHONY -- STAND UP: I’m Natalia Hepworth in St. Anthony where a non-profit medical and dental facility received an award that will help it expand mental health services.
SOT: “The behavior health center is something Grand Peaks has been trying to develop over the last several years. It’s a very expensive program to do and so we needed some help,” Brian Hadlock CEO says.
VO: Grand Peaks Medical and Dental facility was gifted a $680,000 grant from the U.S. Health and Resources Services Administration. This additional funding will help make room for mental health and behavioral services, while expanding the vision of a multi-specialty facility.
SOT: “The patients of the upper valley have not had access to behavioral services that we all know is proven to help with overall health,” Becky Crapo, public relations representative says. “This is an opportunity for everyone to be able to afford mental health or behavioral health services in order to make their life better.”
VO: Public Relations representative Becky Crapo says the new facility will be able to provide a range of services for those with mental and behavioral needs.
SOT: “The patients who are needing behavioral or mental health (treatment), whether its anxiety, depression, bipolar, OCD, or just family/marriage issues --those are different types of behavioral health and mental health issues we will be able to address,” Crapo says.
VO: Brian Hadlock, Chief Executive Officer of Grand Peaks says mapping for the center is underway. The building is set to be around 3000 square feet, and will be located near the Grand Peaks in St.Anthony.
SOT: “Right now we’re in the process of getting the architectural drawings finalized, we’re hoping to break ground this fall, and have a year schedule to move into it,” Hadlock says.
