as posted by the channelPOCATELLO -- It's an understatement to say that Bobby Carver is a Keith Urban fan.
The 45-year-old Boise native, who was born with Down Syndrome, considers Urban his best friend and Carver has waited years to meet the country megastar.
"Keith Urban is Bobby's idol," Carver's sister, Nicole Young, tells EastIdahoNews.com. "We've been watching his tour schedule for quite a while and waiting for him to come back to Idaho."
When Young learned Urban was performing at the Portneuf Health Trust Amphitheatre in Pocatello, she decided to do everything she could to help her brother meet the star.
"We decided to pass around a picture of him on Facebook to see how many shares it could get," Young says.
The sign read: I'm Keith Urban's biggest fan. Share and help me meet him on 8/5/16 in Pocatello, Idaho.
The photo spread and reached Don Jarrett, the program director of country station 105.5/105.9 The Hawk in Idaho Falls.
"Bobby is Keith Urban's biggest fan," Jarrett says. "As far as he's concerned, they are best friends. I thought, 'If his best friend is coming to town, then they need to meet each other.'"
On Friday, Young and Carver made the three and a half hour drive from Boise to attend Urban's concert.
That's when Carver received the surprise of a lifetime: Jarrett took his backstage pass and gave it to Carver.
The stunned, but smiling, super fan then spent a private hour backstage with other VIP's as Urban sand them a song and took some photos.
"It was such a good moment - to see that smile on his face," Jarrett says. "It was priceless."
Young says she and her brother are thankful to Jarrett and The Hawk for helping make dreams come true.
"It was a night that Bobby will never forget," Young says. "We can't thank everyone enough."
