as posted by the channelIDAHO FALLS — One woman is hurt and her home likely a total loss after a grease fire.
Multiple fire and EMS crews responded to Elswood Drive within Sunnyside Acres around noon Friday for a reported mobile home fire.
When crews arrived, they could see smoke billowing from both the front and back ends of the mobile home.
A woman who was inside at the time of the fire, was treated for minor burns to her shoulders and arms. She was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center to be evaluated.
Fire officials say that unattended oil used to cook french fries started the fire and that the home is likely a total loss.
