as posted by the channelASHTON -- Hundreds gathered Friday and Saturday to see mushers from all over the country perform.
Although the weather was warmer than expected the community worked hard to make snow trails for mushers to race.
The dog race consists of 5 races. It also highlights a celebrity race where educators, city officials, and members of the media can race down main street.
Representative from the Idaho State Legislature Van Burtenshaw traveled from Boise to be in the celebrity race.
Race officials are grateful to the mushers for putting on a great race, and mushers say they’ll be back next year.
