Debbie Lott discovered a lump in her breast six months ago.

The news wasn’t good. Debbie would need a double mastectomy and several rounds of treatment.

But tumors had spread and doctors said the cancer was terminal.

The Donald J. Hobbs Middle School teacher in Shelley has remained positive through it all – even marrying her boyfriend last weekend and celebrating life every single day.

We decided to surprise Debbie at school while she was teaching one of her math classes.

After we left, she sent us a touching message that we felt we needed to include in this week’s Feel Good Friday.

Watch the video above to see what happened.
