as posted by the channelIDAHO FALLS — Vogue Beauty College and Salon made a high school student’s dream a reality by awarding her a $1,000 scholarship this week.
After announcing a scholarship giveaway on its social media pages recently, the salon received dozens of entries. The $1,000 award would go toward tuition at the beauty college.
On Wednesday, the Salon invited EastIdahoNews.com to be a part of the surprise announcement. Alyssa Gulbransen, 18, was given the award while eating lunch with her parents at Plum Loco.
I”m just very excited that I won, didn’t think I would,” Gulbransen said. “I have been looking towards Vogue for a long time.”
