4:02Now PlayingToday we are in Pocatello surprising and thanking a woman named Jamie.
We received this email from one of her neighbors a few days ago:
Jamie is my neighbor and she is the most giving, loving person. Last year, when my young daughter was diagnosed with cancer, she marshaled the neighborhood to put together weeks' worth of frozen, easy meals for us. About six months later, she did it again. This is a woman who always jumps in to help others. She sees a need, and she decides to do something about it.
This is on top of a very hectic life she lives. Several of her children have special needs. She recently opened a small business downtown and was the victim of a porch pirate, losing some expensive inventory. And last week her husband had an unexplained seizure and both he and their toddler got a concussion. Her emotions are wrapped up with all of that and with a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis in her extended family.
But you would never know it to meet her. She always has a huge smile on her face. She puts aside her problems and serves others. Please do something to let Jamie know what a special lady she is!
We agreed that Jamie deserved to be thanked so we stopped by her house with some special gifts for Feel Good Friday. Check out the surprise in the video player above!
