We tried to get a Secret Santa gift to this young mom four times and finally caught her pulling out of the driveway
Brandie and her husband Chapman have a two-year-old daughter named Ruth and a son who is almost five.
Ruth was born at 23 weeks and has been constantly in and out of the hospital.
Chapman is a high school teacher. Brandie is getting her nursing degree and a stay-at-home mom. She has to patch herself up on a weekly basis. A few weeks ago, Ruth was supposed to have another two-hour surgery. It ended up taking 10!
Brandie loves her kids, gets her schoolwork done, supports Chapman's career and carries on. She is constantly driving back and forth to EIRMC from Rexburg and balancing it all.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to go pay Brandie a visit and it was challenging to catch her but we finally did. Watch the video above to see the surprise!
