A local Secret Santa is giving $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season and the East Idaho News elves are helping out.
Every day from now until the end of the year, we’ll be posting a Secret Santa surprise, and today we are surprising a sweet family in Idaho Falls.
Mike and Kim are good, hard-working parents of four children who have special needs. They are very service-oriented and serve in the community in multiple ways.
Three years ago, Mike was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He works hard at his job to provide for his family while Kim spends time making sure the kids all make it to their different appointments and therapy sessions. Kim also works on the side to help support the needs of their family.
Their home needs some updates and improvements to be safe for their family; specifically, their front steps are crumbling and are not safe.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to go surprise Mike and Kim with an early Christmas gift. Check out the video in the player above.
