as posted by the channelAuthorities have released new video footage they believe shows missing 19-year-old Camila Mendoza Olmos walking in her Texas neighborhood shortly before she vanished on Christmas Eve.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office shared a clip on its Facebook page that appears to show Camila walking northbound on Wildhorse Parkway around 7 a.m. on Dec. 24.
The video was recorded by a passing driver on their way to work, according to NewsNation. I've put a link to the video in the comments.
“We believe that it captured Camila, just walking … alone, at least at that point, a few minutes after the video that was captured in her driveway,” Sheriff Javier Salazar told the outlet.
Investigators say Camila left her home on foot. She was last seen wearing a baby blue and black hoodie, baby blue pajama pants and white shoes. The newly released clip is currently the last confirmed sighting of the teenager.
Authorities previously said there is enough evidence to believe Camila is in “imminent danger.” She was reported missing on Dec. 24 after her mother, Rosario, awoke to find she had left the house. Home surveillance later showed Camila in the driveway before she disappeared.
Salazar said investigators are considering all possibilities, including kidnapping, human trafficking, self-harm, or that Camila may have left voluntarily.
Rosario contacted Camila’s boyfriend and father shortly after she went missing, but neither had seen her. The family then notified authorities.
