Former Cook County District Attorney Randy Barnett joins Nate Eaton to discuss his time as a prosecutor. Barnett is releasing a new book called "Felony Review: Tales of True Crime and Corruption."

A Georgetown professor, legal scholar, and author, Randy was one of the first lawyers to work in Felony Review as a prosecutor for the Cook County State Attorney’s office. In his memoir, Barnett looks back at his life and how it helped shape his beliefs as a lawyer. Reviewing cases from gang violence, sexual assault, and murders, Randy has seen his fair share of brutality, but also his fair share of the justice system at work. That is, until he uncovers the bribery and lies within the Cook County Circuit Court that culminates to one of the biggest FBI crime busts of the 20th century.
