For the first time since the dawn of the suburbs, America seems ready to begin realizing its urbanist mistakes, and transform policy to encourage healthy neighborhoods, towns, and cities, rather than building endless sprawl. But recovering from half a century of mismanagement will take a lot of work. In this video, we discuss what changes can, or really, must be made at the local level to help our communities recover. But local policy is probably not enough, and next time, we will conclude this series by discussing critical regional and national policy changes if we are to avoid the spiral of suburban decay.

NOTE: The city at 14:40 is in fact Florence, not Milan. Thank you to several users for pointing that out.
