On December 18th, Ruby Franke accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to 4 out of 6 child abuse charges against her. Ruby's attorney made a statement accusing Jodi Hildebrandt of being the mastermind behind the abuse, and Ruby agreed as part of her deal to testify against Jodi if she goes to trial. Jodi’s next court date is December 27, 2023.
The jail call that led to Donna Adelson's arrest has been released. The conversation with Charlie Adelson took place shortly after his conviction. Despite jail calls being recorded, Donna discusses her possible plans to end her life, flee the USA, make sure her children are financially taken care of, and read aloud her text exchanges with Wendi.
