Juliana Magalhães got a plea deal for a reduced charge of manslaughter for the murder of Joseph Ryan. The prosecution agreed to recommend a time served sentence, however sentencing was at the discretion of the court up to the Max of 10 years. Judge A made it clear that if there were an option to sentence to more time, she would have. The Au Pair was sentenced to the maximum of 10 years.
