YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn this week's episode of The Pioneer Podcast, I discuss a very important component of the history of communism in South Africa. I refer to the paper that was published by the Secretary General of the South African Communist Party (SACP), Joe Slovo shortly after the fall of the Berlin Wall, in which he asked the question "Has socialism failed?". Slovo had some interesting observations about the perceived failure of communism and why he believed that there still would be a future for communism in South Africa.
