Speaking to this Swaziland News on Friday morning after being asked if the new Roads Authority Levy will influence an increase in bus fares, Dlamini confirmed that a meeting will be held next week to discuss the bus fares increase.

“We will hold a meeting next week to discuss the increase in bus fares and it might be around 50%”, said the Chairman of the Roads Transport Council when interviewed by editor Zweli Martin Dlamini.

On another note, Dlamini confirmed that, public transports are now alternating through what is known as “Lala-Vuka” amid scarcity of customers.

“People are financially broke that’s why now, as a public transport owner you work today, park your vehicle tomorrow to allow other public transport owners to work and then, work on the third(3rd) day. We introduced the “Lala-Vuka” because there are many public transport operators now while people are financially broke and hardly afford to use public transport,” he said.
