MBABANE: Sizwe Hlatjwako who qualified to be recruited as a soldier at Mahlangatsha Inkhundla in 2013 says, he was subsequently kicked-out of Mbuluzi Military Academy for failing to pay thirty thousand Rands (R30,000.00) bribe.
Speaking to this Swaziland News on Tuesday, Hlatjwako said while at Mbuluzi for training, he was approached by soldiers who were allegedly acting on behalf of Administrator Fana Dlamini, they demanded a bribe.
“I didn’t have money so I was informed that I’m no longer appearing in the list and subsequently ‘kicked out’ after two months of training,” he said.
Army Spokesperson Major Sandile Gwebu declined to comment about these allegations.
On another note, Sizwe Hlatjwako said he approached the then Army Commander Sobantu Dlamini who threatened to shoot him for demanding his job back.
“I went to the bank and discovered that, they canceled my salary saying I died during the training. Army Commander Sobantu Dlamini threatened to shoot me for demanding my job back,” he said.
