The actor had appealed against his conviction but his five volumes of documents contained papers in Marathi which required translation. The appeal is in the 2002 case where he was convicted for culpable homicide not amounting to murder for killing one person and injuring four after his Land Cruiser slammed into a Bandra cleaners.
