His wife, Divya Khosla Kumar too defended him and mentioned in her statement online that there was once a time when people stood against Lord Krishna. She further wrote that though the #MeToo movement was meant to clean up the society, it's sad that some people have started misusing it. Bhushan Kumar also issued a statement where he mentioned that his name was being falsely dragged in the #MeToo movement. The producer also stated that the Twitter handle disappeared minutes after uploading the post.
