On this occasion Varun Dhawan who made his debut with Karan's directorial film Student of The Year revealed that it was Salman Khan’s song 'Sajanji Ghar Aaye' in the film that motivated him to become an actor. He added that when Salman came on screen the entire hall echoed his name and that was the kind of stardom he always dreamt for himself. This incidence made him choose acting as a career.
