As his death leaves a void which can never be filled in the film fraternity, the entire nation continues to mourn. Along with fans, colleagues, family and well-wishers, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, too, expressed his grief by posting a special message in the actor's honour. In his tweet, PM Modi wrote, 'Multifaceted, endearing and lively...this was Rishi Kapoor Ji. He was a powerhouse of talent. I will always recall our interactions, even on social media. He was passionate about films and India’s progress. Anguished by his demise. Condolences to his family and fans. Om Shanti.' Rishi Kapoor breathed his last at 8:45 AM in a hospital in Mumbai on Thursday after a two-year battle with leukemia.
