1:27Now PlayingThe turf war between Bihar Police and Mumbai Police over the probe into the death case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput seems to have intensified after the Bihar Director General of Police accused Mumbai Police of 'forcibly' quarantining a senior officer sent to Mumbai to lead the probe. Now, netas have joined in on the matter. While Maharashtra home minister Anil Deshmukh said the Bihar team had exceeded their brief as the law requires an offence to be probed by police and courts within whose jurisdiction it has been committed, Union minister R K Singh says Mumbai police did precious little after the incident. Meanwhile, Congress in-charge for Bihar Shaktisinh Gohil defended Maharashtra government, saying, 'Bihar police should focus on the investigation rather than indulging in mudslinging.' Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also reacted to the tussle and said the forced quarantine of IPS officer Vinay Tiwari is not 'right' and the govt is currently speaking with authorities in Mumbai. For the unversed, the team of Bihar Police officials landed in Mumbai a few days back after Sushant's father KK Singh filed an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty and a few others for 'abetment' of his son's suicide.
