3:39Now PlayingA video featuring 'Dance Deewane 3' host Raghav Juyal is receiving massive backlash online for being racist and disrespectful. Even Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has slammed the host, calling it 'totally unacceptable'. The clip showed Raghav speaking gibberish while adding words like 'momo chowmein', 'ching ching' in the mix as he introduced a contestant from Assam, a state in northeastern India. In the wake of the criticism, now, Raghav Juyal has released a video clarification and also apologised for hurting sentiments. In the clip, Raghav says that it’s important people understand the context before judging him and calling him a 'racist' as it's affecting his mental health. Furthermore, giving details of his interaction with Gunjan, Raghav Juyal says that the kid had told the crew that she can speak Chinese, which, according to them was largely 'gibberish'. According to the host, she called it her talent and would be seen speaking this made-up language many times on set. Finally, after sharing his side of the story, Raghav apologised for 'unintentionally' hurting the sentiments of the people with his unscripted act. Later on, Raghav also shared another clip with the same contestant and penned, 'This is what happened, actually.'
