New reports suggest the conman allegedly made 'spoofed' calls replicating Union Home Minister Amit Shah's office phone number when he was trying to befriend Jacqueline Fernandez while also claiming that he belonged to the late Tamil Nadu chief minister J Jayalalithaa's 'political family'. These details emerged in the chargesheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case. Jacqueline reportedly claimed she, too, was conned by the conman. Jacqueline Fernandez, during questioning, had told the ED that Sukesh Chandrashekhar introduced himself to her as 'Shekhaar Ratna Vela.'
