Arjun Kapoor on getting trolled over age difference with his ladylove Malaika Arora

Often shelling out a major couple and relationship goals among their fans on social media, Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor is one of the most adorable couples in B-town. The couple never shies away in expressing their love for each other. However, the couple often gets trolled for their age gap. While Arjun is 36, Malaika is 48. Now, Arjun has opened up on getting criticized for this age difference and said that these trolls only want to take selfies with him when they meet him. In a conversation with an entertainment portal, he said, 'Firstly, I think that the media is the one who goes through the comments from people. We don’t even look at 90% of it so the trolling cannot be given so much importance, because it’s all fake. Those same people will be dying to take a selfie with me when they meet me, so you cannot believe that narrative.' While advising to 'let live and move on', he further added, 'What I do in my personal life is my prerogative. As long as my work is being recognized, the rest is all just a lot of noise. Plus, you can’t be so bothered about whose age is what, so we should just live, let live and move on. I think it’s a silly thought process to look at age and contextualize a relationship.' Notably, ever since Arjun and Malaika started dating each other, they always grab headlines for their relationship. The couple went public with their relationship in the year 2019, and since then they have been painting the town red with their mushy pictures and holidays. Meanwhile, on the work front, Arjun Kapoor, who recently got tested positive with COVID-19, will next be seen in films like 'Ek Villain Returns' alongside Disha Patani and Vishal Bhardwaj’s son Aasmaan Bhardwaj's directorial 'Kuttey'.
