Shahid Kapoor shared a video of the Holi bonfire and explained the significance of Holika Dahan in the caption. He wrote, ‘It’s the night of Holika Dahan and we light this fire to mark the triumph of good over evil and welcome the season of spring. Happy Holi everyone!’. Even actress Shilpa Shetty stood by the bon fire along with her kids to celebrate the harvest festival which marks the arrival of spring and end of winter. Sharing the video, Shilpa wrote in the caption, ‘#holikadahan burn all the negativity and live a life of greater good’. ‘Bachchhan Pandey’ actor Akshay Kumar posted a video wherein he can be seen throwing the Holi colours with a joyous smile and a caption that read, ‘Aap aur aapke poore parivaar ko meri taraf se holi ki hardik shubhkaamnayein. Happy Holi ! Anushka Sharma also posted a ‘Happy Holi’ message for fans on her Instagram stories. Hrithik Roshan took to Instagram to post the sweetest message for fans. He wrote, ‘Aap sabhi ko holi ki dher saari shubhkaamnayein! Yeh rang aapke rishton mein mithaas la sakein, aur khushi ki bhaavna aapke dilon mein barkaraar rahe, yehi kaamna hai’. Actress Preity Zinta posted a colourful video wishing fans and followers on the auspicious occasion as she wrote, ‘Hi everyone, wish you all a very Happy & Safe Holi.. May your life be filled with beautiful colours’. Newly-weds Mouni Roy and Suraj Nambiar celebrated their first Holi post-marriage with colours as they posed happily for the camera. In the caption, Mouni wrote, ‘May your lives always be filled with colours of joy, love & laughter, HAPPPPPYYYYYYY HOLIIIIIIIIIIIII #ourfirst’.
