Amidst all the speculations about this much-awaited wedding, reports suggest that bride-to-be Alia will be donning a pink Sabyasachi lehenga complemented by a customised dupatta designed by Manish Malhotra for her D-Day. Earlier, actress Katrina Kaif had also chosen a red bridal Sabyasachi lehenga made of handwoven Matka silk for her wedding to actor Vicky Kaushal in December 2021. Patralekhaa, who tied the knot with `Badhaai Do` star Rajkummar Rao in November 2021, also dressed in a red Sabyasachi lehenga. And it seems now Alia will also be turning into a Sabyasachi bride. She will also don outfits designed by Manish Malhotra for wedding festivities. Meanwhile, reports also say that the couple has decided to have a pastel-themed wedding. Alia is getting married to Ranbir at RK House where Rishi Kapoor too got married and I remember I was a part of that wedding as well.' The wedding preparations are in full swing. The banquet of Ranbir's Vastu house in Pali Hill has been booked for 8 days, and the Krishna Raj Bungalow has also been decorated with lights for the occasion. The wedding will be an intimate affair with only family and close friends in attendance. Meanwhile, sources suggest the wedding will be a 4-day-long affair, with the festivities starting on April 13. However, Ranbir-Alia and their families are tight-lipped about the details of the wedding and trying to keep it away from the media glare. Ranbir and Alia fell in love five years back in 2017 when they started shooting for their upcoming film ‘Brahmastra’ and ever since then their fans have been eagerly waiting to see them getting married.
