Abhishek Bachchan witty reply to a fan who said he's now more famous than his dad Amitabh Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan’s latest flick ‘Dasvi’ is receiving some rave reviews from fans and critics alike. Even papa Amitabh Bachchan, who has been promoting the film since before it’s release, has proudly complimented his son’s performance in ‘Dasvi’. However, a review that has recently caught the eye on social media is of a fan of junior Bachchan who was so impressed by his work that he said Amitabh will be known for being Abhishek’s father in the future. And Abhishek even replied to the fan in his own witty way. Sharing the film’s poster featuring Abhishek Bachchan, the fan wrote, “After this movie, looking at @SrBachchan people will say, ‘See that man, he is @juniorbachchan’s father.’ What a movie! #Dasvi (clapping emojis) What a class acting! #Abhishek #YamiGautam #NimratKaur #maddock #netflix #AbhishekBachchan #AmitabhBachchan." And as usual, Abhishek had a humorous reply to his fan. The actor wrote, “Thank you for the compliment but…. Never! Baap, baap hota hai. Aur Rishte mein wo hamare…. You know the rest." This was a reference to Amitabh Bachchan’s iconic dialogue, “Rishtey mein to hum tumhare baap hote hai … naam hai Shahenshah," from the film ‘Shahenshah’. Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan recently took to Twitter to talk about a particular scene from ‘Dasvi’ wherein Abhishek can be seen getting emotional. Sharing his photo from the scene, Big B wrote, ‘this shot when he reads the results of the dasvi .. is just just sooo moving and immaculately performed .. so proud of you Bhaiyu .. @juniorbachchan’. The veteran actor had showered heaps of praises on the trailer of Abhishek’s film as well. ‘Dasvi’ also stars actors Nimrat Kaur and Yami Gautam in pivotal roles, and is currently streaming on OTT platforms.
