Apparently, Vijay and Rashmika dated each other for some time after the latter called off her engagement with south actor Rakshit Shetty in 2017. That’s also when the two were in the midst of a couple of films together i.e. 'Geetha Govindam' (2018) & 'Dear Comrade' (2019). But soon after, Vijay and Rashmika parted ways as their relationship did not sustain for unknown reasons. This split happened two years ago and they are not in love with each other currently, but remain good friends. But are they getting back together? That’s the question that needs to be asked.
