You will be surprised to know that the song 'Khaike Pan Banaraswala' wasn’t written for 'Don.' It was Manoj Kumar, who suggested adding this song in the second half after he saw the rough cut. Another interesting fact about this film is although Big B played a lead character, reportedly Pran, who essayed the role of Jasjit, was paid more than him. Interestingly, no Producer or distributor was ready to accept the title of the film 'Don.'
