And, their excitement levels have given the film a record breaking advance booking. With 2.5 lakh tickets already sold, trade experts believe that Pathaan will open with a first day figure of ₹35-40 crore. Not just that, it is also likely to gross ₹150-200 crore in India and ₹300 crore worldwide in its opening weekend. . The fact that the film will get a five-day weekend, will only add to better numbers. According to reports, the huge figures of the collection is also credited to the fact that the ticket prices have been hiked for Pathaan. However, Shah Rukh Khan’s fanfare still remains the major pull for the traction. SRK returns to the big screens after a gap of five years with his last release being Zero in 2018. Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan stars John Abraham alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles.
