Raageshwari has a successful start in the industry as an actress as well as popular pop singer. But an unexpected ailment brought curtains down on her career. Raageshwari was battling malaria during the shooting of the music video for Ikki chikki chikita and the record of the album was released on the eve of the year 2000 with a grand concert. Just a week after the concert, Raageshwari was diagnosed with Bell’s palsy, which left her voice slurred and with a paralyzed left side of her face that ultimately led her unable to even communicate properly.
