1:10Now PlayingShilpa Shetty and Shamita Shetty have been granted relief from the Dindoshi sessions court in an alleged Rs 21 lakh loan default case. The court has quashed a 2022 magistrate court’s order issuing summons to the Shetty sisters. However, the proceedings will continue against their mother Sunanda Shetty. The Shetty family was dragged to court a couple of years ago over a Rs 21 lakh loan allegedly taken by Surendra Shetty, Shilpa’s late father, who passed away before repaying it. The judge observed that while Surendra Shetty and Sunanda were partners in the firm under which the loan was taken, their daughters had no concern with its repayment.
