He also said that the people of Pakistan shouldn’t be offended if Indians complain about it. Now, Akhtar has talked about his statement and revealed how the audience at the event responded to it. He reportedly told a news portal, ‘They all clapped. They agreed with me. There are many people who admire India, and want to have a relationship with us.’ Javed Akhtar was in Lahore to attend a festival organised in the memory of renowned Urdu poet Faiz Ahmed Faiz.
