1:07Now PlayingA Ranchi court has reportedly issued a warrant against Ameesha Patel and her business partner in a fraud and cheque bounce case. Reports stated the complainant who is a filmmaker has alleged that the actress took Rs 2.5 crore from him for the making and publicity of her production venture ‘Desi Magic’ saying that she would return the money with interest after film’s completion. After a lot of delays in making the payment, Ameesha reportedly gave him two cheques of Rs 2.5 crores and 50 lakh which bounced. According to reports, she also ignored the court summons and has been booked under sections 420 and 120 of the CrPC.
