His son Harry Paintal broke the news with a note that said: “With profound grief we announce the sad demise of our father Mr. Gufi Paintal (Shakuni Mama). He passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by family.” Gaufi Paintal was battling for his life for the past few days in hospital. Talking about his wrok front, Paintal featured in numerous films including Rafoo Chakkar, Des Pardes, Dillagi, Maidan-E-Jung, Daava, among others. He was also a prominent face in telly world.
