2:13Now PlayingWhile the excitement for Akshay Kumar starrer 'OMG 2' is at its peak, Paresh Rawal's fans will definitely miss him in the film. Recently, the actor opened up about why he refused to reprise his role as Kanji Lalji Mehta in the sequel of his hit 2012 flick 'OMG: Oh My God!'. During a conversation with an entertainment portal, the veteran actor shared that when the makers of the movie had approached him he refused to be a part of the sequel because he didn’t like the story. 'Mere liye koi bhi sequel banana, encash karna hai, mujhe as a character maza nahi aa raha toh, mene bola mein nahi karunga', said Paresh Rawal. Adding more to why he turned down the sequel, he added that if someone wants to make a sequel to a successful film, it should be made the way Rajkumar Hirani does. 'Aap sequel banate hai toh Munna Bhai MMBS jaisi banao, ki ek leap late ho, quantum, Lage Raho Munna Bhai jaisi', said the 68-year-old actor. Meanwhile, he will be reuniting with Akshay and Suniel Shetty for the third installment of the comedy film 'Hera Pheri.' Helmed by Amit Rai, 'OMG 2' will hit the theatres on August 11 and lock horns with Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar 2' at the box office. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
