as posted by the channelThe Bombay High Court has reportedly issued notice to two alleged conmen who had duped Rakesh Roshan by posing as CBI officers. As per reports, the duo Ashwini Kumar Sharma and Rajesh Ranjan approached the filmmaker claiming they are CBI officers and offered him to settle a civil matter he is allegedly embroiled in for Rs 50 lakh. He approached the anti-corruption wing of CBI when his matter was not resolved, as per his plea. According to a 2012 order passed by the sessions court, Rakesh reportedly received Rs 30 lakh (of 50 lakh) and filed a plea for the rest of Rs 20 lakh which he is yet to receive. He submitted an application for the remainder amount but it got rejected by the sessions court after which he moved the high court. According to reports, Sharma and Ranjan were arrested by CBI in 2011 for allegedly cheating more than 200 people, including film personalities and businessmen. They had been cheating people since 2006 by posing as CBI officers. Meanwhile, Rakesh Roshan along with his brother Rajesh Roshan are all set to produce a documentary on the contribution of the Roshan family to the Hindi film industry, as per latest reports.
