Dharmendra, Sonu Sood strongly react to violence in Gurugram and NCR

The communal violence that broke out in Haryana's Nuh district has spread like wildfire and now the death toll has risen to six. Reactions have been coming in from all corners including Bollywood celebrities. Veteran actor Dharmendra taking to X, wrote, 'Ye qahar…. kiyon….kis liye ? Bakhsh de Maalik …ab ….. to bakhsh de…..ab bardaasht nahin hota.' In another tweet, he wrote, 'Apne watan mein teri duniya mein muje aman skoon bhaichara chahiye'. Sonu Sood also tweeted, 'ना किसी का घर जला, ना किसी की दुकान, बस जल रही थी इंसानियत, देख रहा इंसान।'. For those who are unaware about the incident, mobs tried to stop a Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) procession in Haryana’s Nuh where four people, including two home guards, died and many others were injured in the process. A cleric was killed by mobs in a late night attack on a mosque, where they torched an eatery and vandalised shops. Security forces held flag marches in adjoining districts, while several peace committee meetings were organised. Meanwhile, the violence spread to Gurugram and parts of NCR after Rapid Action Force (RAF) personnel conducted a flag march in Gurgaon's Badshahpur following the clashes that broke out in Nuh district. Security has been tightened in the districts adjoining Nuh including Faridabad, Palwal, and Gurgaon-- in light of the violence that broke out between two groups. Section 144 has been imposed for 48 hours from Monday midnight in Nuh and mobile internet services have been temporarily suspended in the district. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
