2:12Now PlayingVarun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor's last released film 'Bawaal' received rave reviews from fans and did a decent business. Now, a fanpage of Janhvi shared a video that reminded all of her mother and veteran actress Sridevi. The video compared Janhvi's performance in 'Bawaal' with Sridevi's ace act in 'English Vinglish'. The video shows similar expressions, reactions and situations of Nisha from 'Bawaal' and Shashi from 'English Vinglish' leaving Janhvi teary eyed. Taking to the comment section of the post, Janhvi wrote, 'Not going to lie, this made me cry love you guys so much for having my back always and giving me the support and love to keep trying to make my mumma proud'. Some fans also dropped beautiful comments like 'the realisation that she's her mother hits me later', 'I saw Janvi as an actress in this reel instead of Sridevi's daughter. I just forgot that they are mother and daughter duo. I remembered this fact when I saw comment that just imagine how much pressure she feels when people think that she should be like her mother and this happened because Janvi has created her own identity.' On even wrote, 'I actually like Janhvi and her acting, it’s wayyyy better than Sara Ali khan and Ananya Panday'. Sridevi passed away on February 24, 2018 in a Dubai hotel a few months before the release of Janhvi's debut film 'Dhadak'. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
