Sunny Deol reveals he was dyslexic as a child: 'Even now when it comes to reading, sometimes...'

Sunny Deol is currently basking in the massive success of his film 'Gadar 2.' The actor recently revealed that he was dyslexic as a child and still struggles with reading. During a conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, Sunny stated that he would often get a 'slap' when he did poorly in class, but no one understood what a dyslexia event meant at the time. 'I was dyslexic as a child. Back then, we didn’t even know what that meant! Thappad padte the, duffer hai, padhai nahi aati. Even now when it comes to reading, sometimes the words seem all jumbled up. Often people say to use a teleprompter at public gatherings, but I refuse! I am like, ‘You tell me what to say, I will try to say it', Sunny Deol said. However, the actor revealed that despite being dyslexic, he also had a 'very high' IQ. Meanwhile, on the professional front, his film 'Gadar 2' is continuing to break and make records at the box office. Helmed by Anil Sharma, the film is the sequel to the 2001 blockbuster, 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha', featuring Sunny Deol once again in his iconic Tara Singh avatar, while Ameesha Patel reprised the role of Sakina.
