According to reports, the actress has always been a strong supporter of the farmers in Telangana region. Having worked as a spokesperson for clothes made by handloom weavers, many of her activities have been linked to the government of Telangana, reports further stated. Samantha is reportedly considering joining the campaign efforts of a political party called the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), however there is no official confirmation on the same. Well, it will be interesting to see how Samantha’s fans react to these reports of her entering politics. Meanwhile, the ‘Family Man’ actress is currently on a sabbatical from acting to take care of her health post the myositis diagnosis. She also made headlines recently when reports of her getting cheated of Rs 1 crore by her manager emerged. On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in Raj & DK’s ‘Citadel India’ alongside Varun Dhawan. The diva recently took to Instagram to share a special post marking the good response that her last outing ‘Kushi’ is getting from the audiences in theatres. Sharing a video of fans throwing bundles of notes on her entry scene, Sam wrote ‘You make me feel like the luckiest girl alive’.
