Nana Patekar reacts to Naseeruddin Shah's comment on 'The Kashmir Files' and 'Gadar 2'

Actor Nana Patekar is back in the headlines again and this time again for his unfiltered remarks. Nana, who was interacting with the media during the promotion of his upcoming movie 'The Vaccine War', reacted to veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah's comment on 'The Kashmir Files' and 'Gadar 2'. Naseer had called the 'success' of all these movies a 'disturbing' trend and said 'It’s not enough to love your country but beat drums about it and you have to create imaginary enemies.' Reacting to this, Nana said, 'Did you ask Naseer what nationalism means to him? According to me, showing love for the nation is nationalism and it is not a bad thing. The kind of film 'Gadar' is, it will have that kind of content and I haven't seen 'The Kerala Story', so I cannot comment on that.' During the same interaction, Nana Patekar also took a dig at a recently released movie and nepotism. A clip from his media interaction has gone viral on social media, wherein he is seen talking about a hit 'ghinoni fim' which he 'couldn't even finish watching'.Many think that Nana Patekar is talking about Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan', but others believe he attacked Sunny Deol starrer 'Gadar 2' and the starkid he referred to is Utkarsh Sharma. A few of the comments read, 'Jawan movie ka Baat kar raha hai' and 'Ye to Gadar 2 hai'. Apart from Nana, the film also stars Pallavi Joshi, Raima Sen, Anupam Kher, Nivedita Bhattacharya, Sapthami Gowda and Mohan Kapur.
