Hema Malini confesses Amitabh Bachchan isn't as 'fun loving' anymore

Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini have shared a long-standing friendship and have worked together in many films. Veteran actors Hema Malini and Amitabh Bachchan's iconic film 'Baghban' celebrated 20 years since its release on Tuesday, October 3. The film won over the audience with its brilliant performance and heart-warming story. However, Hema Malini was not entirely convinced about playing the mother of four adults in the film as she had never played a mother on screen before. She also talked about how Amitabh Bachchan was on set and how he changed over time. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Hema said, “I was not convinced as I had to play a mother of four aged sons. I felt very shy "Main aisa kaise karun, maine aise ema, role Kabhi kiya hi Nahi kisi film mein" then my mother said "if Amitabh Bachchan is doing it. you can. He's opposite you." Talking about working with Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini said, 'I don't think Amit ji is cheerful and funny like he was. Pata nahi, thoda serious oh gaye hain aaj kal.'Directed by Ravi Chopra and produced by BR Chopra, Baghban remains one of the most talked about collaborations between Amitabh Bachchan and Hema Malini.
