The actors talked about the 'bonding between' actors in the 1980s and why they think that the 'oneness is missing' now. Recalling the time when he worked with Suniel, Sanjay said, 'There was so much bonding among all of us. We were so together, we worked in so many movies together.' Suniel Shetty also known as Anna talked about 'boycott calls' and claimed that the 'industry has no voice' today. He said, 'No one stands up to the nonsense or when there are fingers pointed at us. The bond, that oneness is missing, that voice hasn’t remained. Everything’s become weak as there is no one to defend one another. But I must add that it’s coming back now. After what we went through, with all the hashtags and boycott calls, I think now it’s time that everyone stands up for one another.' Referring to the 1993 Bombay Bomb Blast case, when Sanjay was sentenced to five years in jail for possession of arms, the actor revealed how he felt when his industry friends and colleagues gathered outside the jail to meet him. The 'Khalnayak' actor added, 'The first time I went to jail, if you see the photographs outside Thane jail – Anna, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn, Shah Rukh Khan, everybody came and wished me well. I had no respite from serving jail time, so why overthink it? I had to make up my mind that yes I had to go. I have to face it.' For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
