as posted by the channelIndian Revenue Service officer and former NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede has reportedly received death threats. According to reports in a news portal, Wankhede who is currently posted in Chennai has received the threats over phone earlier this week from a religious fanatic from Bangladesh. Reports further stated that he then sent an email to Mumbai Police Commissioner and also to the local police station near his permanent residence in Mumbai to inform them about the threat. A case has reportedly been registered at the police station and probe is on. Sameer Wankhede made headlines when he was heading the NCB's Mumbai zone and handled some high-profile cases including an alleged drug seizure case involving Shah Rukh Khan's son Aryan Khan. A case was also registered against him by the CBI for allegedly demanding Rs 25 crore from SRK and families of others arrested in the case.
